                Visa

Check if you need a visa and what type you need before entering Germany. The German Embassy or German Consulate in your home country provide information about visa requirements.

              • Customs

You do not normally have to pay customs duty for the import of your private household goods. Items that you can import duty-free when moving to Stuttgart are classed as personal effects.
