The Department of Health Care, Official Medical Reports with the subject areas of Official Medical Reports, Social Service for Sexual Health, Prostitution and Tuberculosis, Tuberculosis HIV and STI Consultation is responsible for: Official medical reports incl. Medical examination of corpses before cremation, examination of non-medical practitioners, education on issues of infection control and hygiene, monitoring of drinking water supply facilities, as well as swimming and bathing pools, advice on environmental parameters such as particulate matter, pollutants and radioactivity, opinions on construction projects, Hygiene instructions for employees in the food sector, prevention of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STI), counseling center for tuberculosis patients and for prostitutes and socio-educational and socio-worker individual assistance, registration procedures for prostitutes according to the Prostitutes Protection Act.
