The Office for Social Affairs and Participation provides a wide range of social services and offers individual advice, guidance and support in numerous life situations. This applies in particular to residents who find themselves in a personal or economic emergency situation. Through its services, the targeted promotion of services and forward-looking social planning, the office ensures social urban development, promotes social participation for all and strengthens coexistence in the city's neighborhoods. Around 575 employees in seven specialist departments carry out these tasks.
